We invite submissions such as Articles, Non-Fiction and Fiction stories, Poetry, Personal Essays, Coming-out stories, Reviews (movies, series, books, etc.), Photographs, Artwork, and Cartoons (feel free to branch out!) on the matters or themes related to the LGBTQIA+ Community in the form of written pieces, images, and digital artwork all year round. 

 

Submissions are open and welcome from everyone (from the campus community and beyond) who supports and uplifts the community. So, whether you’re queer or an ally, a seasoned writer or a novice, do send us your work throughout the year. 

 

After we inform you about the selection of your work, we will duly publish the content on our Instagram page, in our monthly newsletter, Out & About, or in our annual magazine, Unshackled. 

 

Please send your piece to us via email at vannam.iitm@gmail.com, and do not forget to give us access to the work you send. The work should be original and unpublished. If it is a previously published work, we expect you to have relevant permissions for republication. Include a brief bio (50 words) and contact information with your submission. If you would like your work to be published anonymously, do mention it during submission and enclose a bio in the third person.
